The Community Impact Network is our newest division, initiated as part of UCSUR’s role as Pitt’s hub for community-engaged research.
The Community Impact Network is a broad, interdisciplinary support network for university researchers and local/regional stakeholders interested in community-engaged research addressing regional priorities. It creates valuable opportunities for university-community relationship-building, intentional networking, and iterative learning.
Community Impact Network initiatives include:
- Support for two-year cohorts of university-community teams undertaking community-engaged research-to-action projects;
- A peer learning framework, including quarterly forums, for members of these teams and other UCSUR Affiliates;
Visibility, feedback, and iterative building of knowledge and experience around best practices in community-engaged research.
