Election Data

Posted on Wednesday, November 07, 2012 at 09:58 am ET

In collaboration with Brady Hunsaker, we have put to use some Google Fusion tables to create a set of online maps of election results in Allegheny County yesterday. The map visualizations, as well as the data used to construct them are there for all to use. The data is a recompilation of data by voting district that has been put online by the Allegheny County Division of Elections.

The first data sets and maps there include data for:

2012 General Election (President)

2010 General Election (Governor)

2008 General Election (President)

That is all just a start. We will supplement what is there with data from more races this election cycle, data on more historical races and relevant demographic data.

Comments, or links to any reuses of the data appreciated.
